Life is Like Art.
You Have to Create it

I think every woman should have a few stories she can't tell at a dinner party without deciding how much trouble she's willing to get into.
I think she should know something about art that would scandalize her grandmother, have a favorite cocktail with an interesting history, and own at least one piece of clothing that makes absolutely no practical sense.
She should have opinions about things nobody expects her to know about.
She should occasionally go somewhere simply because she's curious.
She should be willing to be a beginner at something ridiculous, to flirt with an idea she was raised to distrust, and to change her mind in public.
She should have books on her shelves that have changed the way she thinks about sex, money, power, religion, beauty, and the extraordinary business of being alive.
She should have at least one afternoon in her memory when she abandoned everything she was supposed to do and had a marvelous time instead.
I want us to become more curious, more culturally literate, more adventurous, more difficult to categorize, and considerably less concerned with being respectable.
There is an enormous difference between being a woman who has done everything she was supposed to do and being a woman who has really lived.
I'd like us to have more stories.
Preferably a few that require excellent champagne and a little discretion.
If you're ready for a life with more curiosity, pleasure, beauty, and stories worth telling, this is the kind of work I do with women in my private coaching practice.
I'd love to help you make your life a little more interesting.
